Captain Sam
"I was born and raised in Paris, France. From my youngest age I am passionate about nature, boats and the underwater world, so in parallel with my studies in a business school, I became a scuba diving instructor at 18 and I got my professional captain's licence at 20 years old.
I built my experience in paradise places all around the world such as French Riviera, Red Sea, Mauritius, Reunion Island, Canaries Islands, and accross the French Caribbean. When in 2009 I landed in St Maarten for some vacations with my family, I couldn't imagine that I'd immediately fall in live for this unique places in the world. One island, Two countries, Five main languages, and people from all horizons living together in a dream setting.
With help from my family, I created this company as it came by itself that it was the perfect way to combine my passions, experience, and share it with the St Martin's "Friendly Island" spirit !

Since 2010, Powerboat Adventures is the speed boat tours and charters specialist in Sint Maarten. Our mission is to offer private charters and boat trips around Saint Martin, Anguilla and Saint Barth and share their incredible diversity of landscapes, marine life, and cultures.

We rely on an experienced and passionate team. Professional licensed captains with an intense practice of navigation in the area, scuba-diving instructors with a great knowledge of the local marine life, but most important, they are in love for their islands and cultures, and they want to share and exchange their experiences and knowledge.
